As one of the earliest manufacturers of bituminous waterproofing membrane carrier in China, ISOFELT never stops research & development based on domestic & international market requirements.

 

Ever since its foundation, ISOFELT produces a series of nonwoven materials for bituminous waterproofing industry, such as compound base (a nonwoven material produced with recycled cotton & glass fiber mesh), staple fiber polyester nonwoven, etc. After the year of 2010, along with the improvement of China nonwoven machinery technology, these materials are replaced gradually with spunbond long fiber polyester nonwoven products. ISOFELT also switched its production to high quality spunbond long fiber nonwovens materials. In recent years, ISOFELT placed a lot of efforts on the research & development of reinforced spunbond long fiber polyester nonwoven material, as well as mesh reinforced fiberglass mat, which are more popular in European & American markets. 

 

Up until now, ISOFELT has grown up with a complete product range of spunbond long fiber polyester nonwoven, filament reinforced spunbond long fiber polyester nonwoven, mesh reinforced spunbond polyester nonwoven, spunbond long fiber polyester geotextile, as well as various types of fiberglass composite nonwoven products. 

Using virgin PET chips as main raw material, produced with spunbond technology, and then needle-punched & resin bonded to increase the mechanical performances.

Using virgin PET chips & glass fiber filament as main raw material, it is produced with spunbond, needle-punched and resin bonded technology. 

 

Thanks to the glass fiber filament reinforcement, this type of nonwoven has better dimensional stability in high-speed membrane production (with higher online mechanical tension). The finished membrane also has better gapping resistance performance, especially when applied in cold regions. 

Using virgin PET chips & glass fiber mesh as main raw material, it is produced with spunbond, needle-punched and chemical bonded technology. 

 

Thanks to the glass fiber mesh reinforcement, this type of nonwoven has better tensile strength & dimensional stability in both longitudinal & transversal directions, which enables it applicable in high-speed membrane production . The finished membrane also has better gapping resistance performance in both directions, especially when applied in cold regions. 

Produced with wetlaid fiberglass roofing tissue, reinforced with fiberglass mesh on the surface with chemical bond technology. It is characterized by low grammage but with high tensile strength & low shrinkage performances.

 

Compared with polyester nonwoven, this material has low elongation, but much higher tensile strength. It is more economical to use this material (compared with mesh reinforced spunbond polyester nonwoven) if there’s a high strength but low elongation requirement for the finished membrane. 

Using virgin PET chips as main raw material, it is produced with spunbond & technology, and then needle-punched to increase the mechanical performances.

Commonly used as filtration, isolation, reinforcement or preservation material, in field of  hydraulic engineering, road construction, harbor engineering, landfill & landscape projects, power plant projects, etc. 

Using glass fibers as raw material, Fiberglass Roofing Tissue (Also known as Fiberglass Veil) is produced with wet laid process, and then bonded with chemical binder and heated to form a nonwoven.

 

It is characterized by high tensile strength, water & corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, high porosity and easy saturation with bitumen. The longitudinal strength can be improved further by incorporating fiberglass yarns/threads in the machine direction.
