General Information

ISOFELT Mesh Reinforced Spunbond Long Fiber Polyester Nonwoven is a combination of spunbond polyester with fiberglass weaving mesh. The combination is achieved through a lamination process, to increase the mechanical properties in both longitudinal & transversal directions. This product can increase the tensile strength, tear & puncture resistance of your finished roofing products. 

 

With 24 weaving mesh production lines, ISOFELT can produce fiberglass & polyester mesh with both plain & leno weaving methods. Based on customer needs, special tailor-made products are available to fulfill your diverse application requirements.

Application

ISOFELT Mesh Reinforced Spunbond Long Fiber Polyester Nonwoven is an idea carrier material for SBS/APP modified bituminous waterproofing membrane. 

 

Compared with non-reinforced polyester nonwoven, this reinforced material has higher tensile & tearing strength in both longitudinal & transversal directions, which enables it to be applied in high-speed production (with high on-line mechanical tension). The finished bituminous waterproofing membrane has better performance, especially when applied in cold regions, to avoid gapping problem in the joint area due to thermal contraction.
